The Czech small town is situated in the highlands Vysociny, about 700 metres above the sea.
It has 1600 inhabitants.
In 1968 the film (All my good countrymen) has been made here by Vojtech Jasny. This film was very famous in the Czech Republic and in this way Bystré became famous as well.
