A Danish Village on the island of Funen.
Tommerup is the name of the community with 8000 inhabitants that consists of 4 smaller villages.

In 1989 Tommerup invited 400 inhabitants of Easter en Middle European Countries to come over to Tommerup.

In 1996 it proclaimed itself to be Cultural Village of Europe and organized a big festival for people all over the world. The agricultural village made a lot of contacts all over the world.
