Kilingi Nömme was the Cultural Village of the year.

20-24 May Conference , theme "Country and local municipalities".
During the conference, the participaters did sing a lyric about the cultural villages.

• Contributions of the representatives of the villages: Pergine Valdarno, Mellionnec, Aldeburgh, Ströbeck, Wijk aan Zee, Bystré, Tommerup, Porrúa, Paxos.

22-25 June festival (Tommerup, Porrua, Paxos).

08-11 July festival (Ströbeck, Mellionec, Pergine Valdarno, Bystre).

25-31 July youth camp.

05-08 August festival (Wijk aan Zee, Aldeburgh, Palkonya, Kiechheim).

• In Wijk aan Zee there was a Symposium for Painters in May.
• Also from Wijk aan Zee the EUROPA TOUR 2005 started on it's trip through Europe.
